Introduction
Founded in 2010 by Morad Shaker, Shaker International Scholarship Programs (SISP) was created to help students and families facing financial hardship gain greater access to education, mentorship, and opportunity. Education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking cycles of poverty, and SISP was built around that core belief.
SISP supports students who demonstrate potential but lack the resources necessary to continue their educational journey. The program seeks to reduce barriers that prevent capable individuals from pursuing growth and long-term advancement.
Mission / Purpose
Over the years, SISP has expanded beyond scholarship support alone. It now contributes to mentorship, humanitarian assistance, educational encouragement, and community development efforts. In Bangladesh, SISP has become a recognizable and active platform with strong public engagement and significant community visibility.
The mission of SISP is to create practical pathways for young people and families who may otherwise be excluded from opportunity. It connects education with dignity, personal growth, and future contribution.
Role in Ecosystem
SISP also plays an important operational role as one of the eyes and ears of broader humanitarian initiatives within the ecosystem, particularly in connection with Operation Bangladesh.
As part of SGPRE, SISP serves as the educational pillar of the ecosystem. It supports the development of future leaders, thinkers, and community contributors capable of creating meaningful positive change. Through the SGACIF ecosystem connection, education is understood as part of a wider structure of integrity, opportunity, and poverty reduction.
Founder Connection
Under Morad Shaker’s leadership, SISP continues to represent long-term investment in human potential, opportunity, and generational transformation.
Morad Shaker’s founding vision places SISP within SGPRE as a system for converting educational access into long-term social improvement and responsible community leadership.
